Chopin's life and works, only

Tell us, how did he do?

By the way, nice to post here again. University is more than enough to fill one's mind and life.

Hey JBJ!

I personally really enjoyed his performance of Ballade Op. 23. The subtle nuances in the piece were great to listen to, especially if you have played it before. His black key etude went a little too slow for me in the "B" section. But otherwise, it was pretty interesting.

Some of these programs are getting redundant though. This week I've seen like 5 performances of Fantasie in F minor and 4 of Scherzo no.4 in E major. Hmmm, and only 1 of each have really stood out to me.

If I were in this competition, I'd probably do a little something like this for Stage 1:

-Ballade no.3 in A-flat
-Nocturne Op. 62, no. 1
-Waltz in F Major Op. 34, no.3
-Etude Op. 25 no.6
-Etude Op. 10 no.1
-Preludes a:
in A major no.7
in F sharp minor no.8
in E major no.9
in C sharp minor no.10
in B major no.11
in G sharp minor no.12
-Scherzo in C sharp minor op.39

Not that I can really play of that. But that's what I would play.

aout4, the videos aren't exactly live, you can still find that little part of him playing 10n5. (I just watched him saying: "my back was killing me..." )

I don't remember which "cz" is that, you just need to find it ...

and thanks to whoever post the site up...somebody named Kimic...?

Actually there is a link right above those links to the cz's. The cz's are like show-things that review the day. But there is a flashing button that plays the "live" schedual. Which just is the day, plus a rerun afterward of the day.

lol, yeah, and mei-ting is like the most "American" person there. lol, you could tell he was american. American pride! hahah. I'm just kidding. But you couldn't catch anyone else there saying that their back was "killing" them. lol

Considering he was in the hospital mere days earlier, I'm surprised he played at all.
