Favourite Alexander Glazunow piece(s)?

Well, I noticed that no-one's said anything about Glazunow yet. So, since he's one of my favourites, I decided to make a thread to discuss his works.

My personal favourite is his Barcarolle Op. 22 No. 1. It's such a beautiful song, full of beautiful harmonies, and nice useage of arpeggiated chords. And such a nice use of rythym and tone to bring out a deep joyful feeling.

My second favourite is his Prelude and Fugue Op. 62, which is so simple and yet complex, and has a nice sort of dark atmosphere about it.

i wouldnt say that glazonov falls into 20th century/contemporary. he is a romantic composer, through and through. anyways, the best piece ive heard by him is his 1st piano concerto. honestly, though, i think he is a second-rate composer. also, i hold a bit of a grudge against him. he was a drunk and he screwed up the premiere of rachmaninoff's 1st symphony.

I wasn't really sure where to put him. I've always thought he was a romantic composer, but the site where I get my sheet music puts him under the "Early 20th century" section, and I guess it just sort of confuses me sometimes.
