If we abide by the principle that more talented composers die younger than less talented composers, then indeed Ornstein was without any musical gifts at all :roll: (Just Kiddin' 8))

To be truly honest with you, I have not heard a single piece by Ornstein, but I assume he's all "consumed with piercing clashes" like the Renaissance composer Carlo Gesualdo 8).

Haha, this sounds like someone's just ranomly banging the keys but I think it's still quite a cool piece. Definitely the most percussive piece I've ever heard. I think I've heard another piece by Ornstein, and it was totally different.

You can see a video of Ornstein's "Morning in the Woods" here but it's totally different from "Danse Sauvage" and "Suicide In an Airplane".

Oh, BTW, this topic should go to the "20th Century/Contemporary" section so that people can avoid it more easily. ;)
