Black Keys Study

Postby PianistSk8er » 08 Mar 2007, 15:56

Name of piece: Etude Op. 10 No. 5 - "Black Keys"
Composer of piece: Chopin
Difficulty of piece: Advanced
Experience of the performer: ~10 years

Well, I've been working on this for about a month. And I got the opportunity to record it on Van Cliburn's piano a couple of weeks ago.

This is BY NO MEANS a polished interpretation. I am still in the heart of the learning process. So, please keep that in mind! I would appreciate ANY comments/suggestions/complaints/etc.

My own critique: it's too slow, and I messed up the ending. :P

Thanks in advance,
PS

It sounds pretty good, except I cant get past the climax section in the minor key-it won't continue to download from there.
But from what I hear it sounds good.
Piano- partially a noteworthy feat, constantly a struggle.

Wow, you can really hear the horowitz piano sound! That's so awesome. :D

Yeah, on the slow side, but you really have it going! I bet it'll be great when you get it all up to speed. :)
