Chopin Prelude Op.28, No. 9 in E Major

Postby PJF » 16 Sep 2007, 23:21

Yet another prelude.

It's not quite as I want it, but I like it. It is most difficult to get all the voices balanced, strong but not strident in tone.

i really like your tone quality... refreshing to hear a recording of the prelude that is not forte in a harsh way but rather with a supported rich sound.

If anything, there are a few minor rhythmic inconsistencies where you rush or don't play the chords quite together on the beat. Other than that I enjoyed your performance for its clear structure and again its tone. What kind of piano did your record on?
