the 3rds closing pages are some of the best of any concerto i've heard. at first, the movement began with what sounded like an argument between the orchestra and the piano, but then at the end there was so much cooperation and synergy between the 2 its almost unbelievable. those lighting fast clustered notes, dissonant but unmistakably romantic themes! and those booming closing chords hit hard and leaves an impression on me.
probably my favorite concerto ever, along with rach 3 and tchai 1
