Most of us care about average speed or the speed that is it is normally played at. Accuracy is another thing, but I don't think most of us think about 100% accuracy.

True, and at the same time, not so true.

How about the op.48 no.2 nocturne in F#minor of Chopin?

How difficult would it be stacked up against his others? I've played op.9 no.1, no.2, op.32 no.1, op.72 no.1 and the Cm posth. How would the F#m compare to those in difficulty? Is it a harder one?

Probably too easy for you. ;)

Nah, only thing that is very hard in this piece is to memorize it. It's full of weird chords and stuff. The cross-rhythms are quite manageable but the voicing should be made carefully because of the "Due voce ben marcato ma dolce".

What is so hard about Scriabin? I mean I've never played his works.

How difficult is Chopin's Barcarolle in comparison to something like the first Ballade? :)

If you're talking about D. 958, well, the length. It's 28 pages. I don't know about the technical difficulties, but I'd say it's harder than Beethoven Op. 10 No. 1 and easier Than "Hammerklavier". :P

I would say around the same level. They are each of the same large scale and basically, the technical difficulty also. But it is very hard to well, of course.

Way harder, IMO. Different levels of musical maturity. And harder generally. It's not a fun piece to learn.
